Conferences can leave you wanting to stretch your legs. Check out our organized yoga session and/or 5K fun run in our social events listing. Alternatively, you could rent a bike downtown or pick up a day pass at the J.B. O'Keefe Centre, directly across from the conference facilities at the Wu Centre.  Get out and explore all the wonderful things Fredericton has to offer.

Yoga for Stress Relief - Thursday Morning, June 7

Yoga is a great way to promote relaxation and relieve tension.  Feeling stressed?  Tired?  Overwhelmed?
Join Jenn Carson (yoga teacher/librarian) as she guides you through this 30-minute series of gentle poses, ending with a calming 5 minute meditation.  Beginners most welcome.  All mats and props provided, just wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle.

Meet @ 7:15 am in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza, 659 Queen Street, on Thursday, June 8.

This is a fair weather event and will be cancelled in the event of rain.


Bookin' It:  APLA 5K Fun Run/Walk - Friday Morning June 8

Start your day with a run or walk on Fredericton's amazing trail system. The group will meet in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza, 659 Queen Street, at 7am.
The 5km route will follow the river and go past scenic downtown features such as the Fredericton Public Library, Officer's Square, City Hall, Legislative Assembly and Beaverbrook Art Gallery before returning to the Crowne Plaza.
